Tuesday 21th October 'deadline approaching for Zen-Shin competition sign up'
Please contact sensei (email / phone) for details regarding the upcoming Zen Shin club tournament, the deadline for team/individual events is 25th October if you have plans on entering please get your details registered as soon as possible.

Saturday 11th October 'various pictures added'
Photo Gallery has been updated with pictures from the Zen-Shin summer shoool (held in the recent holidays), the Zen-Shin juniors taking part in the filming of a new Ragdoll Productions project and the Juniors disco which was held earlier on in the year..

Wednesday 24th September 'congratulations to new Zen-Shin shodan!'
Congratulations are in order for Zen-Shin student Lorraine Woodall who recently sucessfully graded to 1st Dan at the last Brown & Black Belt grading.
'commonwealth karate champtionships report'
A party of Zen-Shin instructors and students spectated at the recent Commonwealth Karate Championships; with lots of sights to take in junior instructor Brian Stacey has compiled a report detailing the weekends events.
'login feature added'
As you can see on the right hand side of the main page a login feature has been added..previously this was avaliable on the 'login' page but to speed up the logging in process (for members) you can now enter the information straight from entering the site...remeber if you do not have a username and password you must first register to get one, if you have lost your details then email sensei with the email address you registered from and you will receive your details.
Friday 28th August 'new dates added'
Please check the dates page for details of the Zen-shin events taking place for the rest
of the year, also September marks the beginning of the winter term therefore the times of Zen-Shin classes will now revert to their previous times before summer.
Time is running out for the Devon Course, the date of the course is the weekend of 10th October please contact sensei immediately if you wish to take part and havent sent a form away.
Wednesday 16th July 'day in Sutton Park'
We have planned to spend a day in Sutton Park on Thursday 24th July from 10am to 2.00pm (weather permitting). If any student would like to come with us we will be meeting at. WYNDLEY CAR PARK AT 10AM. Bring a picnic with you and if you have a football, bats and balls (preferably tennis) If any parent would like to help or just relax with us you are welcome.

Ragdoll promotions (the makers of teletubbies ) have selected 4 of our students to feature in some of the programmes
they are filming for the American tv market.....[continued]
Sunday 29th June 'Updates to site'
The dates page has been updated to include dates up to September 2003, the photo galleries also have pictures from this years spring devon course and a recent radio appearence from Sensei on both New Style Radio and Villains Radio.

Pictures from the Zen-Shin Sping Tournament (held in March) have been added to the photo gallery; 11 photo's are avaliable for viewing in the photo gallery section of the site.
Friday 9th May 'Pictures from Majorca visit'
During the recent easter weekend a group of Zen-Shin students along with students and instructors from Dominic Sigillo's dojo visited Majorca for a weekend of training, 15 photo's are avaliable for viewing in the photo gallery section of the site.

Sunday 13th April saw the academy's regular brown & black belt courses; senior gradings followed the course to which high standards were met by each student grading...congratulations to the following students.

Wednesday 2nd April 'Sensei Enoeda'
"Yesterday evening [30th of March] the EKGB learned of the sad death of Sensei Enoeda. The governing body extends its' deepest sympathy to Sensei Enoeda's family and friends, of which we know he had many.
Sensei Enoeda is recognised throughout the world as an outstanding karateka and inspirational teacher and mentor who has touched the lives of his countless students and enriched our sport for decades. His lasting contribution to the practice and development of karate cannot be overstated.
The EKGB has written to the KUGB to extend our condolences on their loss."
